KRUUNISACTIVE MEMBERSHIP POLICY AND WAIVER

 

This Membership Policy and Waiver ("Agreement") is entered into between Kruunisactive Oy ("Kruunisactive") and the member ("Member") for the use of Kruunisactive's facilities and services. By purchasing a membership, the Member acknowledges and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. Membership Options

Kruunisactive offers the following membership options which are all non-refundable for the specified length of the membership.

1.1 Fit Life Membership (indoor and outdoor) :

• Ongoing monthly membership. 

• To cancel this membership , the member must give 30 days notice. This must be done via email to Kruunisactive.

• Billed monthly, depending on the Member's chosen starting date.

1.2 Active life membership 10x Access to Class Membership:

• Valid for 3 months.

• Provides access to 10 classes within the specified period.

1.3 Special membership: 

• Details will be specified in the product before purchase. However, they will still follow this same agreement and cancellation requirements stated in section 4.

1.4 Trial session:

• Free 1-time session valid for 2 weeks.

• This can only be ordered once.

1.5 All memberships can be paused or extended due to a serious illness that means the member cannot take part in exercise. Kruunisactive has the right to ask for a medical certificate verifying this.

1.6 All memberships can be paused for 30 days per year. From the date of purchase. The minimum length of pause is 15 days. The membership must be active. This must be informed via email.

1.7 If your membership is inactive. We cannot extend or pause it. E.g, you have a 10x card valid for 3 months. The 3 months are over, and you have 5 sessions left. We CANNOT give "lost sessions" back. You must contact us before the end of the 3 months with your reason for needing an extension. 

 

2. Age Requirement

2.1 The minimum age for membership at Kruunisactive is 16 years. Members under 18 years of age must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian. If younger. The parent must attend at the same class.

 

3. Health and Medical Conditions

3.1 Members must inform Kruunisactive of any pre-existing health or medical conditions, including but not limited to heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, joint problems, etc.

3.2 Members must disclose if they are currently taking any medications that may affect their ability to engage in physical exercise.

3.3 Members must confirm whether they have experienced chest pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath during physical activity or have been advised by a healthcare professional to restrict their participation in physical activities.

3.4 Members are solely responsible for any of the topics in sections 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3. By purchasing this membership the members agree to this document, you release Kruunisactive, its employees, and its representatives from any liability.

4. Gym Usage and Behavior. Members are required to adhere to the following guidelines: 

4.1 Members are able to sign up and cancel their classes all the way up until the start of the class.

4.2 The coach on the day will sign you into the class before starting the class.

4.4 If Kruunisactive notices the member has not shown up to 5 classes without canceling or informing Kruunisacive about missing the class. The member will be fined 10€. Which will be paid as via an invoice created by Kruunisactive. 

4.5 Classes are open for members to book 7 days before the start of the session.

 

5. Additional Services

Kruunisactive may offer additional services such as personal training or nutritional guidance. The terms and conditions for these services will be communicated separately and may require an additional agreement.

 

6. Contact Information

Kruunisactive will primarily communicate with Members through email or other agreed-upon means of contact. It is the Member's responsibility to ensure their contact information is up to date and accurate.

 

7. GDPR. Kruunisactive hosts its website, app, bookings, and memberships on the third-party service “wix”. Wix follows all GDPR guidelines, which Kruunisactive therefore abides by. Please read here for more info on Wix GDPR policy. 

 

8. Kruunisactive has the right to change their membership policies and terms and conditions. However, they will stay the same for the length of your membership is active. The member will have to reread them when purchasing a new membership.

9. Kruunisactive has the right to change their pricing at any time. However, the member will have to purchase the new membership at the new price by themselves. 

 

10. Waiver and Release

 

By purchasing this membership, the Member acknowledges and agrees to release Kruunisactive, its employees, and its representatives from any liability for injuries, damages, or other incidents that may occur during the use of Kruunisactive's facilities or services.

 

The Member acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement and voluntarily accept them.
